Senior Vice President, Brokerage Specialty Lines
Thomas Iorio leads the Management Liability and Specialty Brokerage division, which is comprised of Financial Institutions, Commercial D&O, Commercial E&O (Cyber), Excess Casualty, Private Company, Fidelity and Surety.
Tom has more than 20 years of experience in the management liability industry. Prior to joining Nationwide, he was Vice President of the Financial Services D&O/E&O department at Hartford Financial. Tom has also served in executive roles at Reliance National Insurance Company. In addition, he is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) and is an active community service participant, dedicating much of his time to coaching various youth sports at the recreation and club levels.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University and a Master of Arts in Economics from Montclair State College.
Senior Vice President, E&S/Specialty Product/Program Expansion
John is a leader on the E&S/Specialty Product Expansion team. He is responsible for proactively managing a pipeline of E&S/Specialty growth opportunities across Nationwide and is charged with identifying opportunities to expand the business through targeted initiatives aimed at implementing innovative solutions across Product, Distribution and Strategic Partnerships.
Prior to this role, John lead the Management Liability and Specialty Programs division. With more than 30 years' experience, John Lopes is an expert at managing profitable portfolios across Management, Professional and Specialty Lines of business.
John joined Nationwide in January 2008 and has built extensive relationships over the years at the retail and wholesale brokerage levels as well as within the reinsurance community. He enjoys taking on new challenges, pursuing innovation within existing products, and exploring emerging areas of risk. In addition, he is a PLUS member and is an active community service participant. He dedicates most of his time to Covenant House and United Way of Long Island. John has his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Wesleyan University.
Vice President, Commercial D&O Liability
Keith Riccio leads the Public and Private Directors and Officers Liability Insurance operations at Nationwide. He has over 20 years of insurance industry experience, with the last 12 being an executive at Nationwide.
Keith oversees a National portfolio of Commercial Insurance, which includes Directors and Officers Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Employment Practices Liability, and Commercial Crime. He is responsible for setting and executing strategy and managing a diverse distribution network of retail and wholesale brokers.
Keith grew up in upstate New York. He attended Hamilton College, with a concentration in government. He is very active in his local community, serving as the president of his local youth football organization and coaching a variety of youth sports.
Vice President, Surety
Tony leads the Nationwide Surety and Fidelity organization. He oversees strategic direction, profitability, agency relationships and associate development. Under his leadership, the surety organization offers a full range of best-in-class surety products to meet all the needs of small market to large national firms. Tony has spent more than 30 years working in the surety industry in various roles, which included responsibility for both domestic and international surety operations. He has a strong underwriting background that includes creating surety underwriting models and completely automating the product line for agents and underwriters. Additionally, he has experience beyond surety, having led ceded reinsurance, flood insurance and agency development across a P&C operation.
Tony grew up in New Jersey. He attended Drew University where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in economics and has his MBA in finance from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He also earned his Associate in Fidelity & Surety Bonding and Associate in Reinsurance designations from The Institutes.
Chief Operations Officer, Brokerage Specialty Lines
Jennifer Law brings nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry to her role of associate vice president and head of Management Liability and Specialty (MLS) operations for Nationwide. Prior to joining Nationwide's E&S/Specialty group 10 years ago, Law held similar roles with Marsh and Arch Insurance Group. In her current position, Law leads a team of eight MLS professionals who are responsible for all underwriting products for the West coast region. Additionally, Law manages the design and delivery of special integrated projects for MLS and plays a significant role in the innovation of a new end-to-end core underwriting solution.
She also has been integral in the creation of a new data and predictive analytics tool. Using a combination of statistical models and underwriting disciplines to extract knowledge from industry data, this tool has been of tremendous value to D&O underwriters in their account decisions.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Law is gala co-chair for the Raphael House, which serves the needs of homeless and low-income families in the Bay Area of Northern California, where she is based. Law graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She continues to serve on the University's athletic board for women's volleyball.
